A School Crossing Patrol is required for Bowerham Road, Lancaster. The crossing is directly outside Bowerham Primary School. Hours are from 08:20 – 08:50 and 15:00 – 15:30 weekdays during term time, which is 38 weeks a year. Payment is £12.60 an hour for a minimum of 5 hours a week (varies at each crossing point) annualised. Uniform and training are provided.
Responsibilities
- Maintain safety at the school crossing during specified hours.
- Ensure timely and orderly crossing of students and foot traffic.
- Report any incidents or issues to the School Crossing Patrol Area Organiser.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be eligible for the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).
- Must apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure.
- Provide two suitable references.
- Available to work during the posted hours and term weeks.
