A Mobile School Crossing Patrol is required in the Rossendale area, to act as a Mobile Relief providing cover for the fixed-point school crossing patrols due to absence and to cover vacant posts.

The applicant must have access to their own transport, business insurance and be able to travel to any of the crossings at short notice on a shift-by-shift basis. The crossing times vary but are generally in the region of 08:30 to 09:00 and 15:10 to 15:40, Monday to Friday during term time, which is 38 weeks a year.

Pay is FLW, currently £13.45 an hour. Payment is for 5 hours a week with additional payment based on duty performed. Uniform and training are provided.

Candidates will be required to be DBS checked and satisfy medical suitability for the role along with providing 2 references.

The post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). If successful you will be required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a 'disclosure'.
