Job Summary: Teaching Assistant Level 2, Fixed Term Contract covering maternity leave. The role may lead to a permanent post.
Responsibilities:
- Support a class in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, delivering lessons and specific interventions to groups of children.
- Collaborate closely with the class teacher, children and families to build strong relationships.
- Participate in whole‑school life, including extra‑curricular activities and school events.
- Use own initiative while maintaining a positive, friendly attitude and acting as a role model for children.
- Maintain high expectations for all children’s learning and development.
- Support classroom teaching by delivering consistently high quality learning opportunities.
- Adhere to the school core values and Christian ethos.
Essential Qualifications:
- English and maths GCSE or equivalent.
- Minimum TA Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
Desirable Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent).
- First aid certificate.
- Safeguarding training.
