Reed/Lancashire teaching agency are seeking a Year 5 Teacher for a temporary position from Monday February 23rd 2026 and is expected to last until the end of this academic year. The role is for 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons appropriate for Key Stage 2 students.
  • Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for end-of-year expectations.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational environment.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching at the primary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Ability to plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
