Salary £13.45 an hour, £25,949 pro rata and term time only.

Location: Acorns Primary School, Blackpool Road, Moor Park, Preston, PR1 6AU.

The Governors of Acorns Primary, a school with generic learning difficulties, are looking for a committed welfare assistant to join our school. The successful applicant will be required to work 1.5 hours per day, 11:45am - 1:15pm, Monday - Friday, term time only.

Responsibilities

  • Be enthusiastic and hard working.
  • Be able to work within a team.
  • Be happy to provide both education and care; personal care is essential for children with generic learning difficulties.
  • Be upbeat and positive.
  • Excellent time keeping, be organised, work as a team member and be flexible in changing circumstances.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Understand the concept of confidentiality.
