We are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join our Learning Disability and Autism Team on a full time, permanent basis covering Hyndburn, Ribble Valley, Barnoldswick and Colne area. The team office basis is Clitheroe. We have a full time opportunity (37 hours per week) and a part time opportunity (29.6 hours per week) working Tuesday to Friday.
This is a hugely exciting time for us. We have launched Living Better Lives in Lancashire – our new strength-based vision for social care. We are driving forward innovative practice that will make a difference to our communities, and we need new Social Workers to help us achieve our vision of supporting people to achieve what they want to, living independently in a place they call their home.

You must be registered (SWE) to be appointed as a Social Worker or have applied to register with Social Work England. The post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). If successful you will be required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a 'disclosure'.
You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and must be insured for business use. However, we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.
