Role Summary: Following the retirement of our fabulous Site Supervisor, Governors are seeking to recruit a reliable, dedicated, enthusiastic and proactive Site Supervisor/Caretaker to join our team. The role is key to ensuring our school environment is safe, clean, secure and well‑maintained, supporting the best possible experiences for pupils, staff and the wider community.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the school environment is safe, clean, secure and well maintained.
  • Key holding duties, porterage, maintenance and cleaning.
  • Lead and manage a team of cleaners.
  • Work a split shift – opening in the morning and locking up at night.
  • Adhere to the school’s safeguarding and health and safety policies.
  • Take a full and active role in the life of our school, supporting staff and pupils.

Contract Details: Part‑time, term‑time only. Salary quoted is fully‑time equivalent and will be paid on a pro‑rata basis.

Essential Experience:

  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.

  • Basic DIY/repair skills.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience of security‑related duties.
  • Experience of undertaking manual tasks (e.g. maintenance, DIY).

Desirable Qualifications: COSHH certification.
