Salary: £28,142 - £32,061 Per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week

Location: Central Lancashire – Chorley & Preston

About the role:

As a Residential Child Care Worker, you would work from a children's home where children and young people aged between 11 and 17 live. You may eat and sleep at the home and undertake basic household tasks – cleaning, cooking, shopping.

Our children cannot live safely with their parent(s) or family for reasons such as adverse childhood experiences or trauma. You will listen and engage in 1:1 work around feelings, emotions and behaviours and liaise with other professionals (social workers, schools, police, health workers) to ensure needs are met.

Please note – this role will involve working on a rota basis, with a mix of Days, Evenings, Weekends and sleep-in shifts.
