Looking for a role where attention to detail and good organisation make a real difference? This is a rewarding opportunity to support PFI contracts that serve schools and communities across Lancashire. Working within our Property Service, you’ll help make sure contracts are well‑managed, compliant and delivering as intended.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing financial and administrative support to PFI contracts, including processing invoices, recharges and purchase orders
- Preparing, tracking and reconciling budgets, ledgers and performance data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinating information between schools, service providers and internal teams, acting as a key point of contact for routine queries
- Preparing meeting papers, minutes, action logs and maintaining clear audit trails, risk registers and contract documentation
- Supporting contract managers to monitor performance, risks and contractual obligations
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working in a financial, contract support or local authority environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with confidence using formulas, spreadsheets and reporting tools
- Excellent organisational skills, with experience managing records, logs, and multiple workstreams
- A proactive, detail‑focused approach, with the confidence to take ownership and see tasks through
