We are currently recruiting to our Supported Living Service for Caring and reliable Support Workers to work within the Chorley Domiciliary Service in Adult Social Care at Lancashire County Council. We are looking for cheerful and positive individuals who would like to make a difference to the people we support.
Our Domiciliary Service requires multiple Support Workers to join us in making a substantial difference to the lives of the people we support within our Adult Disability Service. You will be welcomed into people's homes and make their day-to-day routine something to look forward to with your upbeat attitude and friendly persona. It is not essential that you have a background in Health and Social Care; you just need to have a good heart and a caring nature. We provide all the required training to ensure you get the most from your role, with qualifications on offer it's a great opportunity to progress in this service and turn it into a career to be proud of!
We have various hours on offer which will include some sleep-ins & weekend working, 20 hours, 25 hours, 30 hours, 32 hours and 37 hours per week.

You will become indispensable supporting people with personal care, household chores, finances, medication and anything else they require in their day-to-day life.

You will need bags of motivation and be able to keep going even on the more difficult days. The needs of our service users can be complex and you may face challenging behaviour, but your determination and dedication to excellent care will make it feel easy.

From commencing in post, you will be supported in this position with an induction programme and mandatory training to complete. This position is part-time; please note the salary quoted is full-time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
