Salary: £25,185 - £25,989 Per Annum | Permanent, Part time | 30 hours per week.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Business Support Officer to enhance our established team who will contribute to the key work of the Adult Disability Short Breaks Service. The post supports Adults short breaks (Respite) at 50 Larches Ave, Preston, PR2 1LN providing support to operational staff and managers.

The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). If successful you will be required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a disclosure.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include providing support to operational staff and managers within the Adults short breaks service. The role involves administrative duties and contributing to the efficient operation of the team as part of the local authority’s Adult disability and short breaks service.

Qualifications:

Knowledge and Experience – Ideally you will have experience of working within an administration setting and have knowledge of using Microsoft packages and databases.

Great Communication – You will be engaging and providing advice to Managers, Social Workers, families, members of the public and the rest of the team on a daily basis, so being able to clearly communicate the information you need and listen to individual requirements is key.
