The Governors of Fishwick Primary School are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Admin Support Assistant from September 2026. Fishwick Primary is a smaller than average school and our very busy office is the heart of the school. We need a friendly and highly motivated Admin Support Officer to support our School Business Support Officer. We are situated in East Preston, with good links to the M6. The area in which our school is set is characterised by a relatively high level of social‑economic deprivation, but we work hard to actively create a warm, happy atmosphere that enables our children to feel secure and to work towards their individual goals.
Essential Experience
- Experience of providing good customer service
- Experience of using ICT including Word and Excel
- Car user
Desirable Experience
- Experience of using SIMS software or other data management system
- Cash handling
Essential Qualifications
- GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 and above or equivalent
Desirable Qualifications
- Level 2 NVQ in Customer Service or Administration or equivalent
Hours of Work
8.30am – 3.30pm Monday – Friday, 32.5 hours per week. Some flexibility may be available for the right candidate.
Employment Type
Part‑time, term time only. Salary is quoted on a full‑time equivalent basis and will be paid on a pro‑rata basis.
