People Change Partner | OD&D and Change Team
Salary £55,612 – £60,147 per annum | Full Time, 37 Hours per week | Fixed term until end September 2026

To support this work, we are looking for a People Change Partner to join our OD&D and Change Team on a maternity cover basis. This role may support a specific directorate or work across multiple areas of the council as part of our wider change and efficiency programmes.
Responsibilities
- Designing and delivering people-focused change approaches
- Supporting services to embed new ways of working
- Strengthening engagement so colleagues feel heard and involved
- Facilitating collaboration across teams and programmes
- Ensuring change is communicated clearly and implemented smoothly
- Helping transformation feel purposeful, inclusive and sustainable
Qualifications
- Brings a warm, people-centred approach to organisational change
- Can build strong relationships and act as a trusted partner at all levels
- Navigates complexity with confidence, clarity and empathy
- Is curious, collaborative and comfortable working across different services
- Wants to support meaningful change in a large, diverse organisation
You’ll be part of a supportive and creative OD&D and Change Team that champions learning, collaboration and human-centred design. You’ll work on varied and meaningful change programmes with the opportunity to develop your skills, shape practice and make a real difference.
