Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring consistency of food and service standards delivered to the students and staff.
  • Overseeing menu development.
  • Having full control of the catering operation including stock and food.
  • Organising monthly promotions and added value events to help increase school uptake.
  • Managing and improving all controllable costs.
  • Maintaining school systems & procedures, and legislation.
  • Managing other catering staff.

About you:

We need someone who shares our vision for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools along with the following skills and experience:

  • OND or HND qualified (not essential but advantageous).
  • Chef/Craft based experience using fresh ingredients.
  • Experience providing a food service to approximately 150-200 customers with a view to increasing this take.
  • Knowledge of current health and safety practices.
  • Line management experience.
  • Experience within a similar environment.

Benefits:

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Must have catering experience and preparation and cooking food for the general public.
