The Governors of Peel Park Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic HLTA to join this dynamic and popular school. Peel Park School is an outstanding, successful and caring school with a commitment to teamwork, creativity and continuous learning.

Working Hours: This position is full-time, 32.5 hours per week (8:30am – 3:30pm – 5 days per week) term time only (38 weeks plus 5 INSET days). Please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Recognised and relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy.
Desirable Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
- HLTA status qualification.
- Paediatric 1st aid.
Essential Experience:
- Experience of working with children in a classroom environment.
- Experience of teaching whole class groups across the range of primary key stages.
- Experience of teaching targeted pupils and interventions.
- Experience of administrative work.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience of managing others.
- Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour.
