We need a permanent, full-time x4 Social Workers to work across West Lancashire (Based in Ormskirk) as part of our Adult Services Older Adults and Physical Disability Community Teams.

This is a hugely exciting time for us. We’ve launched Living Better Lives in Lancashire - our new strength-based vision for social care. We’re driving forward innovative practice that will make a difference to our communities, and we need new Social Workers to help us achieve our vision of supporting people to live independently in a place they call their home.

As part of your new role, you will be expected to undertake strength-based, outcome-focused assessments and support planning, ensuring that the residents of Lancashire receive the right level of support. You will play a vital role in supporting people to access local services, maintain independence, promote health and wellbeing, and live independently. A key part of the role includes working alongside other agencies, professionals, and informal carers to provide a holistic service.

In return for your commitment and hard work, you will work alongside supportive managers and be offered various training and progression opportunities.
