A small Primary School is seeking an exceptional, committed and forward-thinking Assistant Headteacher Inclusion and SENDCo to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is a key strategic role with significant responsibility for shaping inclusive practice, SEND provision and outcomes for all learners.
Responsibilities
- Lead on SEND, Inclusion, Equality and Medical Needs across the school.
- Oversee the strategic development of SEND provision, line-manage the SEND team and ensure statutory compliance.
- Champion high expectations and ensure pupils with additional needs make strong progress.
- Contribute to whole-school leadership, improvement planning, and staff development.
- Play a full part in the Senior Leadership Team, supporting school organisation, safeguarding, curriculum development and quality of education.
- Lead on the strategic use of the Pupil Premium Grant to improve outcomes for disadvantaged pupils.

Qualifications

- Strong experience leading whole-school SEND provision, shaping strategic direction, developing policies and embedding inclusive practice.
- Leading and supporting staff effectively, providing guidance, training and management of SEND and 1:1 teams.
