Overview
EYFS Teaching Assistant Level 2B – Early Years (Ages 3–5). We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in shaping the early educational experiences of young children aged 3 to 5, supporting their development in a nurturing and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the learning and development of pupils in line with the EYFS framework
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
- Liaise effectively with parents to ensure a consistent approach to each child’s development and well‑being
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to individual needs
- Monitor and support pupils’ progress across all areas of learning
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience working in a Nursery or EYFS setting (desirable)
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework and Development Matters
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting young children
- Teaching assistant qualification or equivalent
- Level 3 Early Years Qualification
- Paediatric First Aid

Employment Details
This position is part time, term time only. The salary quoted is full time equivalent; if successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro‑rata basis.
