Residential Care Assistant – Woodhill House – Morecambe – Part Time – Fixed Term

Salary: £24,310 – £24,404 per annum (fixed term until 30/04/2026, part‑time, 4 × 17.5 + 1 × 21 hours per week, pro rata). This role is not open to international sponsorship.

We offer a range of rota patterns; please see below:

17.5‑hour rota patterns

• Rota 1: Week 1 – Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday; Week 2 – Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday 15:30‑21:00.
• Rota 2: Week 1 – Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday; Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 15:30‑21:00.
• Rota 3: Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday; Week 2 – Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday 15:30‑21:00.
• Rota 4: Week 1 – Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday; Week 2 – Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday 15:30‑21:00.

21‑hour rota pattern

• Rota 1: Week 1 – Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday; Week 2 – Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday 08:00‑15:30.

Responsibilities

Support older adults and those with dementia in daily living activities, ensuring their independence, dignity and safety. Provide compassionate care, monitor health and wellbeing, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team across our 16 care homes and 13 day centres.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience in residential care is preferred. We will fund training and support you to work competently to the standards of The Care Certificate.
