About the Role: Support Worker (Female Only)

We are looking for caring and motivated individuals to join our team as Support Workers, providing high-quality, person-centred support to adults with disabilities in the Lancaster and Morecambe short break service.

In this rewarding role, you will support people with a variety of disabilities, helping them make choices about their daily lives and take part in meaningful activities. You’ll work within our short break service, offering support in a safe, welcoming, and fully equipped environment that operates 24/7.

You will assist individuals with personal care, daily living tasks, and accessing community opportunities, while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing. You will also support with medication, finances, and following care plans and risk assessments to ensure safe and effective support.

What We’re Looking For

We value people over qualifications. If you bring empathy, integrity, and a genuine desire to uplift others, we’ll provide the training and support you need to thrive. You’ll be someone who:

  • Respects and values each individual
  • Works with dignity, compassion, and a person-centred approach
  • Is flexible, motivated, and ready to make everyday count

Why Join Us?

  • Make a meaningful impact every single day
  • No formal qualifications required—just the right attitude
  • Comprehensive training and ongoing support
  • Opportunities for career progression and paid qualifications
  • Job security in a rewarding sector
  • We’re proud to be a Foundation Living Wage Employer—offering pay above the National Living Wage

Above all, this role is about making a positive difference every day, empowering people to live fulfilling lives and achieve their personal goals.
