Scope of Work
- Food preparation: The Gallery offers a range of hot and cold food and beverages across the day. There is a range of breakfast and lunch items available that you will be required to prepare and serve. We also provide a range of hot and cold drinks, so you’ll help ensure that stock levels are regularly checked and replenished to keep fridges and coffee machines fully supplied and ready for service.
- Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service is at the heart of this role. As a Catering Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face our customers see each day, offering a warm welcome and professional service at the counter. You’ll take pride in creating a positive experience for every customer, whether you're serving food, answering questions, or handling payments. A helpful attitude, good communication skills, and a genuine passion for delivering great service are essential.
- Safe Working Environment: We are committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment where food safety is a top priority. A key part of this role involves strict adherence to food hygiene regulations, allergen awareness protocols, and health & safety policies.
