Lancashire County Council provides catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day. We are seeking committed individuals to join the service.
Key responsibilities:- Prepare the dining area for service, including moving and setting up furniture and putting away.
- Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
- Clean all equipment and catering areas.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
- Good customer care skills.
- Previous catering and food preparation experience desirable.
Monday to Friday, Term time only, 5 hrs per week minimum, 1 hr per day guaranteed; hours variable depending on school meal uptake.
