Mobile Catering Assistant | Peripatetic | Chorley and Surrounding Areas

Salary £12.60 per hour, Permanent, Variable Hours, 15 hours per week, Chorley and Surrounding Areas.

International Sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship.

Role Overview
As a Mobile Catering Assistant, you will travel to different schools in the Chorley and Surrounding area to cover where necessary. You must be willing to train as a kitchen supervisor, be able to drive, and mileage allowance will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the dining area for service, including moving and setting up furniture and putting away equipment.
• Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
• Clean all equipment and catering areas.

Requirements

• Willing to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
• Good customer care skills.
• Previous catering and food preparation experience would be desirable.
• Must be able to drive and have a car suitable for business use (alternative considered for disability).

Working Hours / Days

• Monday to Friday, term time only.
• 15 hours per week minimum; hours variable depending on school meal uptake.
