We are recruiting a Catering Assistant to work within Outdoor Education Services at Hothersall Lodge, Lancashire County Council. This is a permanent, part‑time role of 24 hours per week. Salary is £25,949 per annum (pro rata) or £13.45 per hour with additional pay for weekend and evening hours.
Location: Hothersall Lodge, Ribble Valley.
Responsibilities- Support the catering supervisor and cook in all kitchen operations.
- Maintain hygiene and health & safety standards, ensuring all service areas are clean and orderly.
- Prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals to guests.
- Check the quality and correct quantity of goods ordered.
- Attend team meetings and participate in training sessions.
- Work in a scenic location with stunning views.
- Well‑planned rota (six weeks in advance) and 4 days out of 7.
