Job Description:

Salary £25,185 – £25,989 per annum | Permanent, Part Time, various hours | Various locations across Preston and South Ribble | International Sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship.

Lancashire Libraries are a vital service that provide welcoming, inclusive spaces where people of all ages can connect, learn and feel safe. What You\’ll Be Doing:

As a Library Assistant, you\’ll support the delivery of a high-quality library and information service. This includes:

  • Assisting customers with accessing digital resources and information.
  • Supporting in the planning and delivery of events (e.g. author events, class visits).

You will be appointed to a library base(s), but there will be an expectation that you will work at other libraries as required. Hours of work range from 7 to 37 hours per week. Please see attachments for rotas.

This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
