A School Crossing Patrol is required for Woodlea Road / Broadfield Drive, Leyland. The crossing is close to Leyland St. Andrew's Primary. The working hours are 08:30 – 09:00 and 15:10 – 15:35 on weekdays during term time (38 weeks a year). Payment is on a fluctuating weekly basis (FLW), currently £12.60 per hour for a minimum of 5 hours per week (this varies at each crossing point) and is annualised. Uniform and training are provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide a School Crossing Patrol service at the designated crossing during the specified times to ensure the safety of pupils and others using the crossing.
- Operate in accordance with relevant regulations and guidance for School Crossing Patrols.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents in line with the council’s procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
- The post is part time and term time only.
- The salary quoted is the full-time equivalent; pay is pro-rata.
- The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended).
- If successful you will be required to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure.
