St Mary’s is committed to academic excellence and the whole‑person development of students. We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and confident Cover Supervisor to join our supportive staff team.

Position Type: Part‑time, term‑time only (salary quoted on a full‑time equivalent basis, paid pro‑rata).

Closing Date: 05/06/2026 at 12 noon.

Essential Qualifications

  • GCSEs Grade C or above in English and Maths
  • NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent

Desirable Qualifications

  • Other relevant qualifications specific to this post.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Essential Experience

  • Working with children and young people in an educational setting.
  • Working in a relevant classroom/service environment.
  • Working as part of a team.
  • Administrative work.
  • Experience of using IT / Office 365 / email.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience of using Information Management Systems (SIMs/Arbor) and computerised systems in a workshop/administrative environment.
  • Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour.
