The Governors of Slyne-with-Hest St Lukes Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint a highly-motivated, enthusiastic class teacher to join our team which has recently had a very successful Ofsted inspection (March 2026) and positive SIAMs inspection (March 2024). "Pupils blossom in this nurturing and happy school that sits at the heart of the community." (Ofsted 2026)
The school has 202 pupils on role organised into seven single aged classes. The existing teachers can be flexible in where they are teaching from September and so the specific class in KS2 will be determined following a successful completion of the appointment process.
The Governors are looking for a teacher who:

- has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- is creative and innovative along with having a sense of humour
- has excellent teaching skills and the ability to inspire children in KS2
- can work as part of a dedicated team and be flexible
