If you are highly motivated, friendly and supportive with excellent administrative, communication and customer care skills then this post is for you. This role provides key administrative, clerical, and financial support for the day-to-day operation of Judges Lodgings Museum, including cashing up, banking and processing orders for shop stock and equipment. It includes inputting financial and management information as required and requires higher level text processing, spreadsheet and IT skills.

The role involves the administration of group bookings, events and liaising with the Heritage Learning Team over school bookings. Also supporting the front of house operations which can include opening and closing the site, operating the till, dealing with visitors, and assisting with events and promotion.

This is a 1-year temporary post from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 based at Judges Lodgings Museum. The hours are 18.5 hours per week, normally Tuesday, Wednesday and half-day Thursday but days are open to further discussion.
