You will be a committed, energetic HLTA who supports high‑quality teaching and learning across the school. The post involves delivering PPA cover and other class cover as required, working across year groups and with small groups and individuals to secure learning progress and support wellbeing. The role is four days per week, Tuesday to Friday. This position is part time, term time only. The salary quoted is for full‑time equivalent; if successful the salary received will be paid on a pro‑rata basis. Closing date: 01/07/2026 by 12 noon.
Essential Qualifications- Recognised and relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy.
- Ability to operate at a level of understanding and competence equivalent to NVQ Level 4 standard.
- NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
- HLTA Status.
- First Aid/Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- Experience of working with children, including those with EHCPs and a range of SEND, in a primary setting.
- Experience of working in a primary classroom environment and following the EYFS/National Curriculum.
- Providing class cover/PPA.
- Planning lessons/sequences of lessons.
- Use of a range of assessment methods to help children to progress.
- Providing medical/care support to those with SEND needs.
- Experience in working within a support base/provision room to meet the needs of pupils.
- Experience in using personalised curriculum targets to set provision.
- Lunchtime welfare/play supervision.
