Are you a visionary digital leader ready to shape the future of technology in Lancashire? Join our senior leadership team at County Hall and lead the delivery of transformative digital strategies that enable smarter, more efficient public services.
As Head of Digital Strategy & Delivery, you will:
- Lead the development and execution of the Council\’s Digital Strategy and emerging Technology Strategy, aligning digital capabilities with strategic goals.
- Introduce and exploit the latest digital innovations to drive better outcomes and productivity across the entire organisation, including the deployment of Generative AI, Automation and other emerging technologies.
- Drive a simplification approach to infrastructure, networks and service delivery, ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure successful delivery of digital programmes and projects through robust programme and project management practices.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration across Digital Services and the wider organisation.
What we\’re looking for:
- A digital leader with passion and drive for using making a hug difference to people through the best use of technology.
- Significant experience in senior digital leadership roles, delivering complex programmes and embedding innovative technologies.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, Cloud adoption, Gen AI deployment, and network simplification.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and programme management skills.
- Honours degree or equivalent experience, with a relevant professional qualification.
