Salary £25,949 per annum (full-time equivalent), paid pro-rata for 22.5 hours per week. Permanent, variable hours. Part-time role based at St Hubert’s Roman Catholic Primary School, Lancashire.
During the school term you will work within a team to produce fresh, high-quality, healthy, balanced meals for the school children each day and must have previous kitchen experience and a proven track record in a similar position.
Key Responsibilities- Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plans.
- Direct and/or supervise other employees.
- Order supplies and manage store deliveries.
- Maintain records and stock control.
- Recognised catering qualification and/or food hygiene certificate is desirable.
- Experience catering for large numbers is desirable.
- Prior kitchen experience required.
Working Hours and Schedule: 22.5 hours per week – 4.5 hours per day, Monday–Friday, term time only, plus four cleaning days.
The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended 2013). Successful applicants will be required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a disclosure. Benefits are provided by Lancashire County Council.
