An Area Integrated Transport Services Manager to lead a team of managers and around 170 drivers and passenger assistants providing specialised transport services for Children with Special Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and for vulnerable adults attending Day Services in the Fylde and Wyre area of Lancashire.
Working to the Integrated Transport Services Manager and part of a county wide team, you will be responsible for the provision of Service Delivery operations using both the In-House fleet of large minibuses and external Private Hire resources. Other responsibilities will include supporting the wider Integrated Transport Services team in its business process and project and development work.

Knowledge and Experience
We're looking for a suitably qualified person, for example some with a Certificate of Professional Competence (PSV) who can drive forward efficiency objectives in a rapidly growing SEND Home to School service delivery environment. Someone with initiative and drive and a desire to succeed, who can create networking opportunities both inside and outside the immediate service delivery team.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership and people management skills and will have a broad understanding of transport operations in the field of SEND Home to School Transport, minibus operations and related contract management.
Communication
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to use those skills to influence service delivery teams and senior managers across a range of associated services, building strong working relationships in the process.
