About the Role
The Facilities Management Service has a number of different strands across the wider service including maintenance, cleaning, accommodation planning, catering, conferencing, property compliance and operational management. This role is based in the Operations and Compliance team who work across 140+ properties across Lancashire. The focus of this team is ensuring properties are safe and operational to enable LCC colleagues and partner agencies to complete their roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure properties are safe and operational to enable LCC colleagues and partner agencies to complete their roles.
- Manage the provision of facilities services to a diverse range of premises across a geographic area.
- Apply relevant legislation and operational requirements that impact sites with multiple occupiers.
- Communicate effectively and multitask efficiently due to the nature of the role.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in an FM role or a similar discipline.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation together with a thorough understanding of the operational requirements that impact sites with multiple occupiers.
- Strong communication and efficient multitasking skills.
- Full UK driving licence; vehicle available for business use and flexibility for travel across Lancashire.
