Role Overview
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to support young children’s early learning journey.
Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning and development through play‑based activities.
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons.
- Encourage positive behaviour and social development.
- Create a warm, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with young children in a school or nursery setting.
- Patience, kindness, and enthusiasm.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
- Relevant qualification: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, or 5 GCSEs A*‑C including English and Mathematics (grade 9‑5).
- Desirable: First Aid qualification, experience with children with medical needs or SEND, experience delivering phonics to groups.
