Domestic Assistant (Outdoor Education Centre) Lancashire Outdoor Education Service, a major provider of outdoor adventure activities and residential facilities, is recruiting a Domestic Assistant to work within the Outdoor Education Service at Borwick Hall. The role includes presenting the property ready for guests’ arrival, maintaining the grade 1 listed building’s accommodation, ensuring timely change‑overs, replenishing domestic supplies, setting up rooms, cleaning facilities and more. You will also bring fresh ideas to improve efficiencies and the overall presentation of each centre.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining accommodation and facilities in the grade 1 listed building.
  • Timely change‑overs and preparation for guest arrival and departure.
  • Replenishing domestic supplies and setting up rooms.
  • Responding to a variety of domestic tasks to support guests and the team.
  • Supporting other centres as required to keep the service running efficiently.

We seek an individual who is passionate, flexible, and organised, able to work a range of hours including weekends and evenings. Self‑motivation, team spirit and a commitment to providing a clean and welcoming environment are essential.
