Role Overview
We are looking for a part‑time Teaching Assistant to support the classroom teacher and children’s needs during term time. The position works 8:55 am – 12:00 pm, Monday to Friday, for 38 weeks, and is permanent.
Responsibilities
- Support the teacher and maintain a calm, happy learning environment.
- Assist with daily classroom tasks, including medical and hygiene matters.
- Provide support to children with Special Educational Needs.
- Receive and apply training in first aid, medical, and SEN support.
Qualifications
- Hard‑working, hands‑on attitude.
- Capability to act independently and take initiative.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Previous experience or interest in working with young children is desirable.
