Chorley St Mary’s Catholic Primary is situated in a residential area; a modern building with landscaped grounds and playing fields. Currently we have 205 children on roll, 24 in Nursery, and 37 staff. We run a Nursery, Breakfast Club and an After School Club. We are looking to appoint a Nursery Apprentice (EYFA TA L3) to work within our Early Years Foundation Stage in our Nursery class.

QualificationsEssential Qualifications
  • For candidates aged 16-18: evidence of Maths and English, or you must achieve these during the apprenticeship.
Desirable Qualifications
  • GCSE Maths and English (Level 4 – predicted or gained) or a desire to work towards this for over 19 years old.
  • Paediatric First Aid / First Aid Training.
  • Food Hygiene Training.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience of working in a childcare setting or group.
  • Previous work experience.
  • Experience of interacting with parents and carers on a regular basis.
