We are recruiting a Contract Assurance Officer for the Strategic and Integrated Commissioning service within the Learning Disability, Autism and Mental Health Contract Management Team. The role ensures high-quality adult social care services in Lancashire by managing service delivery according to contracts and market standards, supporting Contract Monitoring Officers and ensuring provider performance and care quality.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure commissioned services are delivered in accordance with contract terms and market standards.
  • Manage care provider performance and assess quality of care in partnership with Contract Monitoring Officers.
  • Support and mentor Contract Monitoring Officers, providing oversight and guidance.
  • Maintain relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
  • Travel across the county as required.
  • Use own initiative and maintain flexibility regarding working location.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience ensuring delivery of agreed performance targets in a relevant setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong planning and organisational abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft ICT systems and software.
  • High motivation, enthusiasm and positive attitude with developed interpersonal skills.
