We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring Teaching Assistant Level 2b to join our popular and successful Church of England primary school. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential, committed to our Christian values, and able to work effectively as part of a supportive and hardworking team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in a nurturing school community where children are at the heart of everything we do.

Position: fixed term of 12 months, primarily working in a KS2 class. Part-time, term-time only. Salary quoted is full-time equivalent; if successful, salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

Desirable Qualifications
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent appropriate to the post
  • English and Mathematics GCSE grade 4 or above
Essential Experience
  • Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
  • Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment

  • Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
  • Experience of leading small groups
