About The Role
The Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council is looking to recruit a Cleaning Supervisor to carry out cleaning duties at County Hall, Fishergate, Preston, PR1 8XJ.
High standards of cleanliness are expected and prior experience is desirable. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Duties include general cleaning tasks such as damp wiping, damp mopping, vacuuming, and toilet cleaning. The role requires leading a small team to ensure all work areas are clean across the site. It also involves straightforward administrative tasks, such as reporting holidays and sickness, and acting as the first point of contact between the client and area coordinator.
In exchange for your hard work and professionalism, Lancashire County Council offers the Foundation Living Wage. The position is part time; salary is paid on a pro‑rata basis.
