Salary £12.60 per hour | Permanent, Part Time, 15 hours per week | Pro Rata
Location – County Hall Complex, Fishergate, Preston, PR1 8XJ
Contract – Permanent Cleaning Supervisor
Hours – Monday to Friday (15 hours per week), 16:00-19:00
About The Role
The Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council are looking to recruit a Cleaning Supervisor to carry out cleaning duties at County Hall, Fishergate, Preston.
High standards of cleanliness expected; prior experience desirable. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning such as damp wiping, damp mopping, vacuuming, and toilet cleaning.
- Lead a small team and ensure all work areas are clean across the site.
- Perform straightforward administrative tasks such as reporting holidays, sickness, and act as the first point of contact between client and area coordinator.
- Travel to the work address is required.
In return, Lancashire County Council offers the Foundation Living Wage for this post, with salary paid pro‑rata. Hourly rate is £12.60.
