Cleaning Operative | DHQ | Preston | Part Time

Join Lancashire County Council as a Cleaning Operative at Preston DHQ. Salary £12.60 per hour. Permanent, part-time (10 hours per week).

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general cleaning duties (damp wiping, damp mopping, vacuuming, toilet cleaning, washroom cleaning).
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness for Lancashire Police buildings.
  • Support team by covering sickness, holidays or additional service demands as required.

Requirements and Information

  • Prior cleaning experience desirable, but full training and ongoing support will be provided.
  • Work at Preston Police Station, Lancaster Rd North, Preston PR1 2SA. Please ensure you have means of travelling to the work address.
  • Contracted hours are Monday to Friday (10 hours per week). Start time range: 06:00 – 08:00.
  • International sponsorship: not open to international sponsorship.
  • Police Vetting is required; there is a three-year UK residency requirement for Police Vetting. A formal offer cannot be issued until Vetting is successfully completed.
  • Salary quoted is full time equivalent; if successful, pay will be pro-rated for part-time hours.
  • Benefits are available on the LCC Vacancies website.
