About The Role

We are looking for a dependable and detail‑focused Domestic Assistant to join our team at Lady Elsie Finney House. You will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and be committed to delivering high standards of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties across the building, including communal areas, offices, bathrooms, corridors, and resident areas.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish surfaces as required.
  • Clean bathrooms and toilets to a high standard, ensuring hygiene and safety at all times.
  • Replace consumables such as soap, towels, and toilet paper.
  • Empty bins and manage waste disposal in line with organisational procedures.
  • Follow designated cleaning schedules and maintain appropriate cleaning records.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with training.
  • Report maintenance issues or concerns promptly to the management team.
  • Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and residents.
