Unit Catering Supervisor (Grade 3) 27.5 hrs per week
Lancashire County Council provides catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the service. You will lead and work as part of a team within St Peters Primary School, Chorley, producing fresh, high quality, healthy, balanced meals to school children each day. You must have previous experience in kitchens and a proven track record in a similar position.
Key Responsibilities- Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plans.
- Direct and/or supervise other employees.
- Order supplies and store deliveries.
- Maintain records and stock control.
- Recognised catering qualification and/or food hygiene certificate would be desirable.
- Experience of catering for large numbers is also desirable.
Working Hours: 27.5 per week, 5.5 hours per day. Monday β Friday, Term time only. Plus, four cleaning days.
