About the Role
We are looking for a dependable and detail‑focused Domestic Assistant to join our team at Grove House. You will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and be committed to delivering high standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties across the building, including communal areas, offices, bathrooms, corridors, and resident areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish surfaces as required.
- Clean bathrooms and toilets to a high standard, ensuring hygiene and safety at all times.
- Replace consumables such as soap, towels, and toilet paper.
- Empty bins and manage waste disposal in line with organisational procedures.
- Follow designated cleaning schedules and maintain appropriate cleaning records.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with training.
- Report maintenance issues or concerns promptly to the management team.
- Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and residents.
