About the Role
We are seeking a Casual Cleaning Operative to support the Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council. The role involves cleaning and laundry duties across residential care homes and day centres, providing a safe, clean environment for older people.
Responsibilities
- Damp wiping and mopping of common areas and bathrooms
- Vacuuming and general surface cleaning
- Toilet and washroom cleaning
- Loading, emptying, and pressing laundry machines
- Preparing laundry items for storage and transport
- Covering sickness holidays or additional service demands as needed
Qualifications & Experience
Prior cleaning experience is desirable, but full training will be provided. Successful candidates may cover work in several buildings across Lancashire. A formal offer will be issued only after successful Enhanced DBS checks.
