Shadsworth County Junior School is looking for committed individuals to join their catering service, which provides high quality, healthy, balanced meals for school children.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare the dining area for service, including the moving and setting up of furniture and putting away.
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
  • Cleaning of all equipment and catering areas.

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
  • Good customer care skills.
  • Previous catering and food preparation experience would be desirable.

Working Hours/Days:

  • Monday to Friday, term time only + 4 days.
  • 7.5 hours per week, 1.5 hours per day, although hours are variable depending upon school meal uptake.

This position is part time; please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
