This part-time role provides high-quality, healthy meals to children at St Charles Primary School. You will work as part of a team to prepare, cook and serve meals for over 500 schools in Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the dining area for service, including moving and setting up furniture.
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
  • Clean all equipment and catering areas.

What We Are Looking For

  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
  • Good customer care skills.
  • Previous catering and food preparation experience would be desirable.

Working Hours / Days

  • Monday to Friday Term time only – 6.25 hours per week, 1.25 hours per day (hours variable depending on school meal uptake).
  • Permanent contract; part-time, salary paid pro-rata.
