Lancashire County Council provides catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving more than 60,000 school meals per day. We are looking for committed individuals to join the service as a Catering Assistant at Rishton Methodist Primary School.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the dining area for service, including moving and setting up furniture and clearing it afterwards.
- Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
- Clean all equipment and catering areas.
What We Are Looking For

- Previous catering and food preparation experience is desirable.
Working Hours / Days
Monday to Friday. Term time only 8.75 hours per week, 1.75 hours per day, although hours may vary depending on school meal uptake.
This is a part‑time role. The salary quoted is on a full‑time basis; remuneration will be paid pro‑rata.
